Personal Works

In my art work I focus on working with collage and law-tech animation. Both of these technics allow me to create intermediate states, somewhere between reality and illusion. My work takes the viewers on a visual journey that reveals delusional and semi- realistic situations.

In my work I invent and create objects and artifacts from imaginary cultures. Then the objects receive a meaningful and ritual functionality. I work in a wide range of techniques and materials like clay sculpturing and textile.

My recent work deals with creating a potential formation of musical instruments built from real animal's bones and from imitation of bones.

My works were created from an extensive exploring of the coal as a work material. The coal's past and present fused with my inner world that deals with distant childhood memories and the reconstruction of them. The roots of the coal are easy to imagine, but no one will ever find out the exact origin of a specific lump of coal. In the same way, I'm never sure what the specific origins of my memories are.

My work starts with observing natural scenery or situations. I combine realistic style oil paintings with different techniques of abstract painting.
